Beefy Tortellini Slow Cooker Recipe
This simple Italian comfort food comes together with minimal effort and maximum deliciousness.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 ounces) roasted tomato and garlic pasta sauce
- 1 package (12 ounces) uncooked three-cheese tortellini
- 8 ounces sliced button or other mushrooms
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- Italian parsley, freshly chopped
Instructions:
- Coat the inside of your Crockpot® Slow Cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, brown beef over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring to break up meat. Remove to your slow cooker.
- Stir in pasta sauce, tortellini, mushrooms, water, and red pepper flakes in the slow cooker.
- Cover; cook on LOW for 2 hours or on HIGH for 1 hours. Uncover the slow cooker and stir.
- Cover; cook on LOW for 2 to 2 ½ hours or on HIGH for ½ hour to 1 hour.
Serve with grated cheese and fresh parsley and enjoy!
