Beefy Tortellini Slow Cooker Recipe

This simple Italian comfort food comes together with minimal effort and maximum deliciousness.

Ingredients:
    • 1/2 pound ground beef
    • 1 jar (24 ounces) roasted tomato and garlic pasta sauce
    • 1 package (12 ounces) uncooked three-cheese tortellini
    • 8 ounces sliced button or other mushrooms
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
    • Italian parsley, freshly chopped

Instructions:

  1. Coat the inside of your Crockpot® Slow Cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, brown beef over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring to break up meat. Remove to your slow cooker.
  3. Stir in pasta sauce, tortellini, mushrooms, water, and red pepper flakes in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover; cook on LOW for 2 hours or on HIGH for 1 hours. Uncover the slow cooker and stir.
  5. Cover; cook on LOW for 2 to 2 ½ hours or on HIGH for ½ hour to 1 hour. Serve with grated cheese and fresh parsley and enjoy!
