Baked Apples with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar

Ingredients:
  • 4 Large Red Honey Crisp Apples, cored
  • 140 ml Unfiltered Apple Juice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 90 g Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Pinch of Nutmeg
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch of Ground Cloves
  • 40 g Cup Pecans, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Butter, cut into 4 cubes
  • 40 g Cup Granola
Instructions:
  1. Add the apple juice to the Crockpot™ Express Multi-Cooker with the cinnamon stick.
  2. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and chopped pecans. Mix well.
  3. Fill each apple with the sugar mixture and put one cube of butter on top.4. Sprinkle some granola on top of each apple.
  4. Place the apples into the multi cooker making sure the apples are sitting on the steaming rack.
  5. Place the lid onto the multi cooker. Set the steam valve to the “Seal” position.
  6. Press the DESSERT setting and cook on LOW for 10 minutes. Release the steam and open the lid.
  7. Transfer the apples to your serving dish and top with vanilla ice cream. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
