*Unless you have a 5-, 6- or 7-quart slow cooker, cut any roast larger than 21/2 pounds in half so it cooks completely.
Instructions:
Place sauerkraut in Crockpot™ slow cooker. Sprinkle with sugar; add ale. Place pork, fat side up, on top of sauerkraut mixture; sprinkle evenly with salt, paprika, garlic powder and black pepper. Cover; cook on HIGH 6 hours.
Remove pork to large serving platter. Remove sauerkraut using slotted spoon; arrange around pork. Spoon cooking liquid over sauerkraut as desired.
