5 Eye Of Round Beef

Ingredients:
  • 5 pound eye of round
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cans canned brown gravy
  • 1 packet dry brown gravy
  • ½ bottle small ketchup
  • 1 Onion peeled,whole
  • ¾ cup vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 pound bag noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  1. Salt and pepper the beef, to taste. Place in Crockpot™ slow cooker . Add 2 cups water. cook on high for 5 hours. Remove and slice thin. Keep juices from meat. Return to Crockpot™ slow cooker.
  2. In sauce pan on stove put in cans of beef gravy, ketchup, onion, vinegar, cloves, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer ½ hour. Remove onion.
  3. After you return meat to Crockpot™ slow cooker, add beef gravy mixture . When it is simmering, add dry mix. Stir well and cook another hour.
  4. Cook noodles according to package in salted water. Drain. Add butter and saute noodles about 5 minutes on high heat. Serve meat and gravy on noodles.
