Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy1225 from Does not work as advertised I received this as a gift for Christmas. I was very excited to be able to take soup and other foods from home to work and have it heated at lunch time without having to go find a microwave. On the first day, the inner lid sealed perfectly and I was able to carry my soup to work without it spilling. After the first use, the lid no longer sealed. When I contacted customer service about the issue, here is what I received back "We are sorry to hear about the experience you had in using our food warmer. We want to set your expectation that the inner lid is designed not to seal and it's main purpose is to prevent dirt nor steam in contact with the food. If the inner lid will be sealed, there will be a pressure build up inside the warmer." This is not the way that it is advertised. The packaging and the website say that the inner lid seals to carry the food. The directions that came it stated that the inner lid may pop off during heating and that it normal. DO NOT BUY if you plan to carry your food in it to work each day. You will need a separate container to do that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tom73 from afraid to use it looks cheap and junky. poorly mad I just got it from Amazon a couple days ago. My wife had my father in law order it for me to use at work. But I haven't used it yet and don't want to. It seems like a cheap plastic piece of junk. the outer lid doesn't even fit correctly. no on/off switch, short cord, no high ,med, low, settings. What a cheap design. not impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brandon247 from Infinitely better than microwave Turn on 1.5-2 hours before you want to eat... heats up whatever you put inside to a perfect temp. I've turned multiple coworkers on to this product, they all love it as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KathleenO from Love this but it needs redesigned I purchased two of these when they were being sold on QVC. I love this lunch crock pot. This product made my lunch easy, tasty and memorable. My only issue happened to both of the units I purchased. They both had cord issues, both of them sparked, one was sitting on top of a computer cart when it blew, The sparking left a black mark on the bottom of the unit and some on the cart. The second one blue while sitting on my desk. It took out a circuit at school and I had to find a custodian to fix the breaker. I love these, but wish the cord had a better design on the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ALF 69 from 10 years and going I bought mine about 10 years ago, and still using it. Started a new job recently, and many people have commented on how much they like it and want to get one of their own. Might have to buy one or two more to give as gifts. Also love the additional inserts I bought, well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Teacher Lori from Better than using the microwave! I bought 3 of the mini crock pots about 2 years. I gave 2 as gifts and kept the 3rd one for myself. I LOVE it. I am a school teacher and have very little time for lunch. So having my lunch nice and hot when I need it is perfect. I don't have to waste half of my lunch time waiting in line for the microwave. Besides, most of the time the microwave is gross anyway. Everyone who sees it comments about it. It works great with meats and veggies, pasta dishes and obviously soups and chili. I love that I can leave the mini crock pot at school and only bring the inside bowl and lid home to wash and refill with leftover for the next day. Everyone should have one. It makes a great gift.
