Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooks way too hot I bought this about 3 months ago and have used it 3 times. The first time it seemed to get hotter than my other slow cookers but since I was home it wasn't an issue. Yesterday I set it on low to cook 9 hours for pork ribs. Luckily my husband was home as the pot was simmering within 3 hours and by the time 6 hours went by the ribs were done but still a little tough and the green beans were burned. I will not use this again unless I can watch it - what's the point of that?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cooks too fast Bought this to replace my old slow cooker. Used to cook whole chicken using a recipe I have used numerous times. It calls for 8 hours of cooking on low which has always been correct. With this cooker the chicken was done in 4 hours - is there anyway to make the low temp lower? Is this faulty? Will I need to adjust all my favorite recipes?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from real disapointment Had about 3 months used 3 times. Received as a gift from my husband . Really like the programmable features, versatility of temperature controls, and especially the browning feature. The best slow cooker I’ve had to date. Had come to rely on ability to set n forget while away until that fateful day. Anticipating slow cooked roast dinner ready to serve, following return from church, found roast uncooked. I reset it to cook again, and chose to cook over the stove. I’d thought maybe a power surge had interrupted the timer but, no clocks flashing nor any other evidence to suggest power failure. While preparing a skillet meal, I noticed the crockpot stopped again but, was still powered. After several attempts to reset the sequence, and choosing different temp settings, only to watch it shutdown again repeatedly. I gave up and put the roast in the oven to cook. I want to think it’s a fluke however I see other reviews indicating very similar issues. I grew to trust that the cooker would save time and effort in meal preparation. How to fix this?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hit or miss Got this for Christmas and have used a handful of times, worked great! This time, keeps shutting itself off...I keep turning it back on, stays on for 10-15 minutes, shuts itself down again and again...watched some utube videos on holding in the selection button for 30 seconds, trying that now, so far it’s staying on...I just want my pot roast dinner tonight!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died on the first use! It was a Christmas gift. I used it the first time yesterday and the control panel shorted out. Tried to chat with customer service today to request an exchange but was booted off of chat 3 times. So far not impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please make 3in1 in 4.5 quart oval size Please make 3-in-1 multi-cooker in 4.5 quart oval size. I enjoy sautéed caramelized onion in my recipes. I have several models & different sizes of slow cookers; Including the 3 slow cookers model:SCCPVP450H-B that I switch out when I have to transport, then plug in again; I like model SCCPVP450H-B that does not switch off of WARM & let the food go cold; I make sure it is 3/4th full of broth/water to prevent burning. (I returned one programmable slow cooker that turned off from WARM: Why do I want to come in to eat cold food.) I have at least one slow cooker on daily; I have a slow cooker on right now. I also have the largest slow cooker programmable up to 20 HOURS! that I baked the sliced ham, then i cooked split peas with the bone. I have been cooking with slow cookers since 1981. I have been cooking since 1959. I have had cooking classes @UNR, cooked in restaurants, I have been a chef over 4cooks. I like oval shape the best.
