Ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 racks pork baby back ribs, cut into 3- to 4-rib sections
  • 2 small red onions, finely chopped
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • 1 juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot pepper sauce
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup beef broth

  • Instructions:
    1. Press BROWN/SAUTÉ on Crockpot™ Express Pressure Cooker; heat oil on HIGH. Add ribs in Crockpot in batches; cook, uncovered, 7 minutes or until browned. Remove ribs to large plate. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce and chili powder; cook and stir 5 minutes. Remove half of BBQ ribs sauce to large bowl; set aside.
    2. Add ribs and broth to Crockpot Express; turn to coat. Secure lid. Press MEAT/STEW, set pressure to HIGH and time to 30 minutes. Make sure Steam Release Valve is in “Seal” (closed) position. Press START/STOP.
    3. Once cooking is complete, natural release pressure 10 minutes. Release remaining pressure. Remove ribs to large bowl with reserved sauce; turn to coat. Skim fat from top of cooking liquid. Press BROWN/SAUTÉ on Crockpot Express; cook liquid, uncovered, on HIGH 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened. Serve sauce with ribs.
