Easy Slow Cooker Recipes for Football Lovers

Spinach Artichoke Dip
Not only is this one of the simplest recipes for your slow cooker, it's also one of the tastiest. 


  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk or half and half
  • 1 bag chopped spinach
  • 14 ounces artichokes, quartered and drained
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella.

Cover the bottom and insides of your slow cooker with a liner. Combine all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and gently stir. Cook on high heat for 2 hours or until the cheese has completely melted. Stir one final time to ensure the dip is blended. Serve with a snack for dipping and enjoy!

Honey Barbeque Chicken Wings
Chicken wings are a staple of every sporting event and these honey barbeque wings are sure to be a crowd favorite.


  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 1/2 cups barbeque sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.

Broil chicken wings on a sheet pan in the oven for 10-15 minutes, turning once. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the honey barbeque sauce. Transfer broiled chicken to your slow cooker and cover them with the sauce. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Honey Garlic Meatballs
You can't go wrong with this sweet twist on the classic meatball - with just a few ingredients, you can create a gourmet appetizer.


  • 1 bag full cooked, frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce.

Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce and garlic in a bowl. Place the frozen meatballs in your slow cooker and add the sauce, stirring so that each meatball is evenly covered. Cook on low heat for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
