- 1 loaf of day-old French bread, cubed
- 4 tablespoons butter, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 can of peaches, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Cover the bottom of your Crock-Pot® Manual Slow Cooker with a liner, then add cubed bread, peaches and pecans. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Whisk the ingredients together until they're well-blended, then pour into the slow cooker. Fold the contents of your bread pudding together until the mixture is cohesive, then cover the appliance. Set the slow cooker to high and allow the dessert to cook for about 3 to 4 hours. Use a knife to discern when the edges are spongy enough to separate from the stoneware.
