Snow is falling softly outside as you sleepily turn on the coffee pot and wait for the sound of your kids racing down the stairs, straight to the tree to see what's there waiting for them. The only thing missing? A savory batch of soft and gooey cinnamon rolls. Be prepared for the perfect Christmas morning by trying out one of these decadent slow-cooked cinnamon roll recipes with your Crock-Pot® Programmable Casserole Crock Slow Cooker.

Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread
A few simple additions make this slow-cooked take on the classic cinnamon roll recipe all the more savory and delicious.


  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Open each can of dough and separate into 8 rolls. Cut each roll in half. Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray, then pour in melted butter. Place each piece of dough in the butter in the bottom of your device. In a bowl, beat the eggs and then add in the whipping cream, cinnamon and vanilla until well blended. Pour the mixture over the dough in your slow cooker. Drizzle half of the maple syrup over the rolls. Cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours or until center temperature is 160 degrees. Spread icing over rolls, drizzle the remaining maple syrup on top and enjoy!

Pecan Cinnamon Bun Casserole
Bring a nutty flavor to a decadent sugary cinnamon casserole with this easy recipe.


  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk.

In a small bowl mix together the butter and vanilla, blend well and set aside. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Remove biscuits from their package and one by one, roll each in the butter mixture and then coat it in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray and place each roll inside. Spread chopped pecans over the biscuits. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. While the rolls are cooking, combine the powdered sugar, milk and remaining teaspoon of cinnamon for the frosting. Glaze the rolls and serve warm.

A breakfast staple, cream cheese makes the perfect frosting for these warm, pumpkin flavored cinnamon roll delights.


  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup white or dark Karo (based on preference)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar.

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, Karo, cinnamon, ginger and pecans for the glaze. Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray and then pour the glaze into the bottom. Separate the crescent rolls, roll them out into triangles and coat them in cinnamon sugar. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, pumpkin puree and vanilla. Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly onto the triangles, then roll up each one. Cut them into halves or thirds and then place each one into the glaze in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Allow rolls to cool before serving.
