Crock-Pot® 6-Quart Countdown Digital Slow Cooker with Little Dipper® Warmer - Stainless Steel
Even better than my last one!
I received this as a gift and loving it so far. Just sad to finally retire my previous digital crockpot after ten years! Crockpot brand is made to last and I am very loyal. This new crockpot is really nice with its beautiful appearance, black porcelain insert (my old white one shows cracks really bad), ability to turn directly to warm (for plugging back in once at your destination), many timer options, and automatically switching to warm at end of cook time. I agree with the other reviewer, the cord is too short- but that's my only complaint. Happy crock-potting!

cooks too hot!!!
I originally had the Versaware Pro Crock-pot...had it for 6 years until my husband dropped the lid on the floor and it broke. I guess the model was so old that we couldn't even get replacement lids for it. I'm the crazy full time working mom who does the weeks worth of frozen crockpot meals!!! And it worked great with the Versaware. Well, now I have had this model for a couple months and it always fails.....every single one of my meals has burned or dried out....no matter how much liquid I put in it!!! I'm so bummed. The time of making my life easier has come to an end because my crockpot doesn't cook well!!!! I want the Versaware back!!! And my money back for this model that works poorly. There is no warm, low, and high setting....its high, higher, and very high!!!!

Don't confuse this with a programmable crackpot. You still need to switch it from Hi to Low. It does automatically switch to warm after done cooking... this is a nice feature.. but I bought it thinking I could program it to cook for an hour on high.... then switch to low. fo "X" many hours.. then it would switch to warm when that was done... I would have bought a cheaper model if I had known. The switching to warm is a nice feature.. but not nearly as useful as changing temps.

Only works if I stay home and watch it
Pretty disappointed with this crockpot. The buttons say "warm", "low", and "high". But really they should say "high", "higher", and "super high". I can only use this if I'm home and available to unplug it every hour, so it can cool down. Even on the "warm" setting it boils everything.
I thought the brand CrockPot was a sure thing and I stupidly threw away my receipt and box before using it a couple times. Now I'm stuck with this lemon. Frustrating.

I love the programing BUT it runs HOT no matter what setting you put it on, even on low it burns my food :( I just emailed company and see what they will do about it but looks like I am going to have to use my smaller/older faithful crock until then. About one third of tonights dinner was burned! note: It starts to burn shortly after plugging it in.

Worst crockpot ever!
I received this crock pot as a wedding gift, and it is by far the worst crock pot I have ever owned. I can't even cook a roast on warm for 4 hrs without it burning it. I would not recommend this crock pot to anyone, don't waste your time or money. I will be purchasing a new crock pot, but definitely not the crock pot brand.

I love this thing!!
I love the ability to program exactly how long I want my meal to cook- not just have an every-two-hours increments available like other Smart Pots. After it cooks perfectly, this crock pot then switches to warm, and keeps the food perfect for when you are ready to eat! SO convenient and efficient.

For now "good" a little disappointed
Just made my 5 meal in this Crock Pot and the ceramic insert cracked. I'm ordering a replacement and will see if it was a fluke. Up until now very happy. Does seem to run a little hot, even on low.
