Rated 1 out of 5 by Wildcat76 Want my Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker Back!! After 6+ years my smaller Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker needed to be replaced... I decided to "upgrade" to the 7qt programmable slow cooker with the stainless steel look from Crock-Pot. I was very excited as during high school football season and fall/winter I use it at least 3-4 times a week at home and for the girls at my office. Well I have been sadly disappointed...EVERY and I do mean EVERY meal that I have made has never been "done" when I come home. It doesn't matter if its on 4hrs, 6hrs, 8hrs, or 10hrs--it just doesn't get cooked all the way through. Needless to say, I will be "yard selling" this one very soon and getting a new Hamilton Beach one during black friday. This was my first and last purchase of the "corck-pot" brand. Simply a waste of my money!!! November 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rich1947 The best one yet! I've had several Crock-Pot slow cookers and the convenience of a slow cooker can't be beat. However, they all have had only low and high settings. Either your meal was ready in four to six hours or eight to ten hours. When you leave for work in the morning, you are usually home long after the slow cooker is finished preparing your meal. The result usually is either an overcooked/soggy or dried out dinner. This Crock-Pot with "Smart Cook Technology" is the answer to this problem. Set the time you want dinner ready and Shazam! It's ready when you get home. I love it! Never had a dried out dinner since I have started using it. October 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Jgrims Horrible My mom bought me a Hamilton Beach crock pot while pregnant with my youngest son. It served me well for 13 years. When I finally needed a new one, I decided to make what I thought was an upgrade to the actual crock pot brand. I was so wrong. After just 3 months, my stoneware has dozens of stress fractures that leak. It's completely unusable now. What a waste of money. I'll be purchasing a new Hamilton Beach brand first thing tomorrow. Rated 5 out of 5 by Annee Love this Crock-Pot This is actually my 4th Crock-Pot since the 1970s. The first two were replaced when newer features were introduced, but they still worked fine. I purchased my third Crock-Pot because I wanted to downsize; as it turns out I was very disappointed in that 4-quart Crock-Pot because it boiled the food while on LOW, so I purchased this digital model (the only difference is the color; mine is black and matches other appliances). I am VERY HAPPY with this Crock-pot that has the digital control panel. I cooked a pot roast on Low and when it was done it automatically switched to Warm and kept the food ready until it was time to serve it. I love the oval shape. It is much better for cooking roasts and other items that don't fit easily into a round shape. I had considered buying another brand, but now I am very happy that I stayed with Crock-Pot. Rated 5 out of 5 by IrisA New 3.5 qt is loaded with features. I was chosen to recive this unit and use it as a consumer. It is by far the best crock yet. I can have dinner cooking 20 hrs in advance and automatically it keep's warm on programmable settings. It has locking kids for easy transportation. No more spilling..It also has a lid holder by the handles .It is a 9x13 cassarole crock. Allows for lots of dishes I love make. Unlike all other crocks and I own 4 different sizes.I will be useing this 5 days a week. My meals are tender and done to perfection.. Love all the features this one has.... September 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Suehla Disappointed Got this as a replacement for touchscreen model that had electrical problem. While I appreciate the prompt replacement, I wish I had waited until my prior model was available.I don't like that I can't set cook time in manual mode and then have it switch to "keep warm". "Ready at " feature has overcooked everything each time I have used it. Considering the price, I would not recommend July 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by baw730 Excellent crockpot Got this one recently to replace old digital crockpot that I'd had for 8 years. This is just as great as my old one. Love it and use it all the time. July 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by lisakay311 Unreliable. I am a long-time Crock Pot fan. I received my first as a wedding gift 20 years ago. I used that one until last year when it finally quick working. I purchased this one because I thought it would be a better because of the ability to set the time on it. I have tried using it more than 10 times and at least 5 different times I have come home after leaving it on the "high" setting and the food was not done after 10 hours. I left a pot of beans on and continued to cook just trying to see how long it would take, and the next morning they were finally done, after 24 hours of being on the "high" setting. I never had this problem with my old original Crock Pot. With this one you never know if your dinner will be done when you get home, which to me if the purpose of using a Crock Pot! August 25, 2014
