Rated 2 out of 5 by Coastallady1199 Everything sticks to crock & overcooks food I bought this crock when my slightly smaller one was not big enough for roasts and larger recipes. I was surprised when the food stuck to the inside and burned the first time I used it. The second time I used it I sprayed it with non-stick cooking spray, and some foods still stuck. Also, it cooks too fast. I have had liquids boiling in this crock hours before it was to be done, even on the low setting. I read another review who had a similar problem, returned it, received a new one and the same thing happened. I never had a problem with my white interior crock, but using this new black one and the elements inside, I am starting to believe it was not a good choice. I rarely use it now, and still go back to my old one unless the recipe calls for a larger crock. I love the fact that it has a timer as I am not always home to shut off a manual crock. But... with that said, when you have a crock pot that cooks too high even on the low setting, then automatically switches to "warm" setting when done cooking, the food is overcooked and well done. Wish there was a way to bypass the "warm" method so it would shut off completely. February 16, 2014
