Rated 4 out of 5 by lpenny Good product, great quality I like the crockpot itself. Don't know if I would purchase just because it stirs. I did not like the way the lid clamped, I prefer it to clip to handles on the side. It didn't seem like if felt secure and had a good seal. I use my crock-pot more for meats then I do for soups or chilies, so the stirring feature would not be something that caused me to purchase. The look of the machine is great; love the stainless steel and digital settings. I'm not crazy about having two plugs (one for crock and one for stir mechanism), because it means I have to unplug something in my kitchen to use the entire outlet for the crock-pot. Overall, it is well made, looks good and works well...just isn't something I would purchase on my own. September 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Susanlo Great crockpot The new I-stir crock pot worked out well. I was afraid the stirring may be too rough on the chilis and stews and break the vegetables, but it wasn't. It cooked everything well and kept it stirred without opening the lid. You can even use it without the stirring device if you were making a roast or something. The lid has a rubber seal and locks on both sides to keep it sealed while stirring. This helped things get hot really quickly and stay hot. You may be able to shorten some of the cooking times of your recipes. I am glad to have had the opportunity to sample and review this product. September 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Felicia Nice Product This crock pot is unique in that it has a stirring attachment. I like the way this crock pot looks, very attractive. It has a great digital readout that you can use to set the timer and also lets you see how much time is left. It has a great feature that when the timer is done, it automatically sets itself to "warm." I like the locking lid and it comes with two stirring attachments. The stirring mechanism is okay. It doesn't really do a full stir, but swishes the food back and forth. It has its own controls so you can do a manual stir. It automatically stirs the food for 5 minutes every hour. I like that you can use it without the stirring attachment as well. It is a nice crockpot overall. NOTE: I was given this product to test. September 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacca1225 Love it! I was extremely happy with this crockpot. I no longer have to leave my guests to go stir the dip 10 times because the cheese is burning on the sides. It was nice to be able to throw everything in and walk away. I used to say that crockpots should come with a stirring aspect - so imagine my surprise when I find out I get to test this for free! All my guests were pretty impressed as well, it was a big hit! I love the way it looks too, very modern and up-to-date September 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mimi I like this slow cooker I like this slow cooker. I have had several types of slow cookers over the years and have never seen one with a stirring lid, and I found that it is quite useful for things that you would normally stir regularly when made conventionally, like soups or stews, really anything with a significant sauce or amount of liquid and smaller pieces that wouldn't break up when stirred. I also like that it has cord storage which is always a problem for me. Overall I liked the product. I received this product as a sample to review. September 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 iStir Crock Pot This product has a few great features. You can take the auto-stir adapter off and use as a regular crock pot or you can use the iStir adapter so your food stirs every 30 minutes. I also liked that you can press the button and have it stir whenever you want. The size of the pot is a standard size which is great. The digital timer also comes in handy for a meal that only needs to be warmed up. I am glad I received this crock pot as a sample to review. I love it! September 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by kmomof2 great crockpot having the stir feature this product is easy to use and love that it has the stir option for soups and stews and also you can use it without it too. Love that it has a timer and it goes by minute too not just hours like others. Kept my chili and soup from sticking and evening cooking. I obtain this product as a sample for review. The size and value is outstanding i would recommend this would be the only crockpot you would ever need with having the stir function. September 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by MamaDonna Crock Pot My favorite crock pot recipe is for Swiss Steak. Coming home from work to experience the aroma of that meal filling the house is so theraputic. So wonderful to not have to put down my purse and start supper as it is already deliciously prepared in my old crock pot. One of the reasons I have shied away from recipes that needed to be stirred is because I wasn't home to provide that needed element; however, it would be great to be able to have a stirring mechanism that would stir soups, etc., and then I could utilize all the delicious recipes. This is a boon to all cooks. January 21, 2014
