Rated 5 out of 5 by cookingrannie wish I had the last ones I bought for myself. They were gifts. I have had several brands of slow cookers. I bought myself a Crock Pot brand and will never buy any other brand. I like the locking lid feature. It also cooks uniformlly and once on warm does not continue to cook food as other brands do. Just wish I had the last one I bought for a gift was available when I bought mine!!! The digital timer and other auto features, plus the warming stone would be ideal to own. I have some of my family up for supper at least once a week and use the crock pot at least twice a week. Put the food in and not worry about it!!! Also the meats are tender not overcooked and tough as I have happened with another brand. December 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by BILLY Bought it on PBS's Cook Country's recommendation Cook Country tested various brand name crockpots and the digital series of CROCKPOT was recommended. I use my crockpot to mainly cook sauerkraut at a low 8hr setting. and it cooks the kraut to melt n your mouth. My crockpot allows 4 automatic time settings. So if you have the desire to some serious cooking I would checkout other CROCKPOT's digital models. There are at least four other models with digital settings. If you have the desire to cook sauerkraut I recommend to first rinse the kraut in cold water to get the salt taste out of it. I then blend my with frozen pineapple chunks and juice. both are good for the indigestion. April 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by smythede Good overall product I love my Crock Pot overall. I like the warming feature. The locking lid is nice. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the fact that when I have a recipe that needs to be cooked on low for 4 hours, I have to set it on 8 hours and set a different timer. I can't set the Crock Pot up for that scenario then have it go to the warm mode. To set it for 4 hours, it would automatically cook at a high temperature setting. I don't care for that. I wish I had realized that before I bought it. I would have chose a different Crock Pot model. September 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by EGGrami Nice features overall This is a nice product. Great for travel. I wish there was the ability to manually set the cook time instead of only preset times. I found it interesting that the directions that came in the box were for one that had adjustable times but no temperature gauge. I like the temp gauge though. I also got the insulated carrier for it which makes it even better for travel. December 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna30 just purchased the SCCPVL710-B Using for the first time today. Looks great but I did not receive any literature in the box with the Crock-Pot. I am cooking a pot of brown beans but do not know if I should lock the lid while it is cooking. Is there any way I can purchase a booklet telling me how to use the timer and explain about the cooking with the lid locked or open. This is my second Crock-Pot and I was very pleased with the first one so therefore I purchased a second one and expect to be very happy with it also. November 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Redd Looks like a good product - how about putting the owner's guide on-line? It would be great if the owner's manual was on-line. This model (SCCPCTS605-S) isn't available on-line. January 14, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Grassfedbeef Very poorly made One of the rivets holding the base together fell out on unpacking. The friction nut holding it was bent and in the bottom of the packaging. The spring switch in the base is crooked and flimsy. The base overall is very poorly constructed and does not seem made to last. January 12, 2014
