Additional Information

Simply set the cooking time on “High” for 4 or 6 hours or on “Low” for 8 or 10 hours and go about your day. After the pre-selected cooking time is complete, your Crock-Pot® Smart-Pot Slow Cooker will automatically shift to the “Warm” setting, preserving the flavor of your meal and ensuring your meal is ready to enjoy when you are. The secure-fitting lid and locking system create a tight seal between the stoneware and lid to ensure that up to 6-quarts of your secret recipe can go where you go with no hassle and no mess. Your car interior remains clean on the ride to your best friend’s house, company picnic or family reunion. The Crock-Pot® Cook and Carry™ Slow cooker is just as at home in the kitchen as it is on the road. The convenient lid locks nestle neatly in with the lid so your counter top looks sleek and clean. The stoneware transfers easily from the stainless steel frame to the table or refrigerator. And both the stoneware and the glass lid are dishwasher-safe, making clean up simple. Crock-Pot® Slow Cookers make cooking easy, but the Crock-Pot® Cook and Carry™ Slow Cooker makes it easy to get your dish from here to there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Over-all, Nice Product and Good Value. We mostly cook 'comfort food' like classic post-roast and others, and it's come out wonderful every time that we took the time to prep it correctly; and even some times when we didn't.  It's not a lot of money for something that has lasted us 3 years.  Now it appears that the insert has finally started to 'pit'; unless I miss my guess. I'm no crock-pot expert, but does a slow-cooker insert pit like this after a few years? I realize the discolorization in the bottom ring is probably normal with use, but I'm thinking that the two pin-holes revealing what's under the black-coating might mean it's time to replace the insert? Unfortunately, this site does not have this exact insert in-stock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working I've had this crock pot for 2 years, with translates to about 10 winter meals. I've used it once this year and it worked fine. The next time, after I get everything ready to add to the pot, it wouldn't turn on. The green light flashed but that's it, couldn't select a time. Had to unplug it to make it turn off as that button didn't work either. Tried several kitchen plugs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrific! Bought this and used once. The crock CRACKED and shattered during use. I can't even return it now. This is terrible and the most HORRIFYING experience ever with a crockpot!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Crack pot is right I received this for Christmas about 2 years ago and loved it because I work long hours and can make dinner in the morning. However, I came home and the insert broke, and leaked all over! What should I do? The crock pot itself still works, I just don't have an insert! How can I go about getting another one? I'm devastated! I love making all kinds of meals in my slow cooker :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boils EVERYTHING. I bought the cheapest crock pot brand slow cooker and it boiled everything, even on low. I decided I probably got what I paid for and bought this more expensive model. Dumb on my part, this boils everything too. I get to choose whether I'd like to boil my food for 4,6,8,or 10 hours before it switches over to "Warm" on its own and boils it some more. I'm very disappointed and really wonder how you stay in business. Today, it cooked the meat that was supposed to cook for 8 hours in 2 hours-and it was on "warm" the whole time. This is a joke. I wanted to start cooking slow cooker meals due to our busy lifestyle. I can't do that with this one.
