Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Had this model for several months, tried many things. It does not get hot enough to cook food. Used high and reset twice. My 20 year old crockpot does great. I fear we'll get sick on uncooked food.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed. I have an older version of Crock-Pot and another brand also. Both of those heat up faster than this Crock-Pot model. Also the power cord on this one is stiff, a problem I have experienced with other electrical products made in China. It is quite annoying! You can't make the cord lay where I want it because it has a mind of it's own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Upgraded from my manual to a smaller digital So far I'm a fan of the digital crock-pot, I had a manual and upgraded after my husband dropped and broke the one we had and loved for 4 years. It did give off a slight odor the first time we plugged it in that made my husband question the safety of EVER cooking in our apartment again. It cooked evenly and I like that it turns itself off after it is done with the timer but I would love for it to just set to warm as the food was then cold by the time we got home. Guess I'll just need to plan better next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for us. I've owned a lot of slow cookers. This one is perfect for our life now. I bought it after reading that the newer models get hotter, even on low. (I thought it was my imagination!) Using the programmable feature that cycles to warm helps a lot. Now I'm researching Crock Pots for a friend who nearly burned down her house because she forgot about a pot on the stove. She doesn't have much hand/arm strength so I'm concerned about the weight. If she leaves it out on the counter and uses liners (do they come in oval?) maybe this one will work. I hope that your product team will continue to consider us "old folks" when developing new features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work -- plain and simple. :( I've had this for about a year. I thought I was just a bad "cook". But really, how bad can I be, when you throw in some meat, some veggies and potatoes, some awesome sauce, and wait patiently until dinnertime. But then -- everything is crunchy! And then you order pizza. :( This was a constant since I purchased it, but silly me, it only really dawned on me when I prepared a roast w/veggies, or like today, a hamburger/vegetable soup, with small red potatoes that were QUARTERED, and after 10 HOURS on HIGH (restarting the timer to the 4-Hour HIGH mark every 4 hours), were still crunchy! Now, I have another Crock Pot that I've used alternately, that -- oddly -- gets SUPER hot, and scalds the food. Cooking something on LOW, is too hot! I really don't know where to turn here....I WANT to use a Crock Pot, and have very successfully in the past before purchasing these last TWO units in the past year, but one gets SUPER hot, and this model, the "SMART-POT", just doesn't cook -- even on HIGH. :(
