Lemon and Herb Verbena
If you love the fresh, herbal smell of rosemary and lemon, you'll love slowly brewing this scent around your home. Try mixing 1 sliced lemon, several sprigs of fresh rosemary, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 2 cups of water. Keep the lid off and cook on low for 8 hours. When you return, it will smell like you're taking a stroll through a lovely garden!

Cinna-Berry Potpourri
When cinnamon and bold fruits mix together, something magical happens. Cook this concoction in your slow cooker and come home to a beautiful smell that combines elements of citrus and spice. Not only does it smell great, but the dish looks colorful and festive as well. When you're done cooking the mixture, you can strain out the liquid and keep the remnants in an uncovered jar to enjoy its smell and beauty even longer.

Simply place 2 sliced oranges, several cinnamon sticks, 1 cup cranberries, 2 teaspoons nutmeg and 2 sprigs rosemary in your slow cooker and fill with water until all of the ingredients are covered. Cook uncovered on low for 8 hours.

Orange Creamsicle
What better way to celebrate the middle of summer than with the mouth-watering smell of an orange creamsicle filling your home? The best part about this is that it's a calorie-free way of enjoying the fragrance of summer!

Place a sliced orange and 1 teaspoon of vanilla in your slow cooker and cover the ingredients with water. Like the other recipes, cook uncovered for 8 hours, and you'll walk into a summery smelling home when you wake up or return from work.

Sleepy Time Brew
When you've had a long day, wouldn't it be great if you could walk into a home full of soothing aromas? Think lavender, eucalyptus and the like. For an especially relaxing concoction, try mixing 1 cup lavender, 1 cup dried eucalyptus leaves and 1/2 cup dried spearmint leaves. Cover all ingredients in water and cook uncovered for 8 hours. When you get home, your hour or two spent unwinding will be perfectly enhanced. Curl up with a good book on the couch to relax even further.

Warm Apple Pie
Want the apple pie smell without the apple pie calories? Try brewing this aroma in your slow cooker to mimic the smell of the sweet dessert and celebrate the fall season on the horizon. Place several cinnamon sticks, apple peels, orange slices and cloves in your slow cooker and cover the ingredients in water. Cook uncovered on low for 8 hours and enjoy the comforting smell of pie when you walk through the door.
