- 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 4 bone-in pork chop loins
- 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup honey barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce.
In a bowl, combine the crushed pineapple, honey barbecue sauce, onion and chili sauce. Pour half of the mixture into your slow cooker, then add in the pork chops before pouring the remaining sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
Maple Mustard Chicken
Spice up the classic chicken dinner with mustard while keeping it sweet with the addition of maple syrup too. - 6 boneless chicken breasts, halved
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup stone-ground mustard
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca.
Place the 6 boneless chicken breasts in your slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, mustard and tapioca. Mix well and then pour over the chicken. Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or until chicken is tender. Serve with rice if desired!
With little preparation needed, this recipe for Swiss steak makes for an easy meal that is hearty and filling.
- 1 1/2 pounds beef round steak, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 medium onion, cut into slices
- 1 celery rib, cut into slices
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste.
Combine the steak, flour, salt and pepper in a large bag with a seal. Seal and shake to coat. Place the onion slices in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add the steak, celery and tomato sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Enjoy!
