Caramel Apple Pie Dip
This caramel apple pie dip eliminates the hard work it takes to make a pie but still delivers that same warmth and flavor.

Ingredients for the dip:

  • 5 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 jar caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt.

Directions
In a bowl, combine the apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Pour the entire mixture into your slow cooker, stir it well. Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2 hours. While the dip is cooking, make the dippers.

Ingredients for the dippers:

  • 1 package refrigerated pie dough
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. On separate baking sheets, spread out one pie crust at a time. Using a pastry brush, spread the milk onto each crust. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the crusts. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips. Separate the strips so that they don't bake together. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Use the dippers for the apple pie dip and enjoy!
