Wasted chickenI bought several of the boxed dinners, and have only tried the Chicken & Dumplings. What a waste of good chicken! It was dusty tasting, and the "vegetables" remained rock hard little nuggets. Unfortunately, I didn't use it right away, so I cannot return ALL of the other dinners I bought, but I sure won't be eating them!

fineI an very disappointed with the lid as it does not fit tight on the crockpot.Am really thinking about getting a different crockpot. If the lid is not positioned just right there is a crack along the one side. Looks to small for the pot.

Bad instructionsIf you're thinking that this is a recipe that you can put in before work and have be ready when you get home, you are wrong.
I set my crockpot to cook on low with the chicken and broth for 8 hours on (as instructed) before I left for work this morning. That went well.
When I came home, I added the veggies and the raw dumplings into the crockpot and set it to cook for an hour on high. Though the recipe says you only need to cook for another 45min, I thought there wouldn't be any harm in adding some extra time. Well... I under estimated.
After an hour, I still had raw dough (despite cooking on high) and after an hour and 20 min, the dumplings were still not sufficiently cooked.
I made a frozen pizza instead.
I would have done better (and probably had the meal be healthier), if I'd made my chicken and dumplings from scratch. I won't be fooled again!
